The Executive Council of Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India has scrapped the admission tests for the Arts Faculty on 4th July, 2018 only a week before the scheduled dates of the admission tests, without citing any acceptable reason. The admission test has been a time-tested procedure at Jadavpur University, which has enabled the university to maintain its excellence over the years.
